We could not be more different; from height to personality traits to becoming moms to athletic abilities. However based on the outfit choices we were destined to meet, become besties, and later Incorporated Boss Ladies.

The turtle story was everywhere. EVERYWHERE. It left such a mark with us that we looked into how we could be part of the small-ish change to reduce plastic waste.

In looking for alternatives to plastic straws we could not find a straw that had an appealing aesthetic. And we were certainly tired of fishing the pulpy remains of paper straws out of our cocktails.

So we started down the path of creating a product that was equal parts eco-friendly and delightful. The universe had a plan for us.
